Scope of Service and Boundaries
The sessions are for guidance and support in self-development and lifestyle improvement of the individual. The effort of the individual towards working on themselves will determine the effectiveness of the sessions. It is the sole responsibility of the individuals to ensure they benefit from the sessions.
Therapy and counselling sessions do not claim to provide diagnosis, prevention, cure or treatment for any disease or health conditions. Taking correct medical support and treatment will be the individual’s responsibility. Therapy and counselling will only support and guide individuals in lifestyle management. The individuals seeking therapy shall maintain regularity and continuity to ensure effectivity of therapy.
Inaction by the individuals or irregularity in attending the sessions may lead to therapy/counselling being ineffective.
The therapy/counselling is a support system and requires efforts from the individuals taking therapy. The therapist or the organization does not take responsibility for the same.
Session frequency, length and approach will be determined collaboratively during the course of the therapy based on the needs, goals and progress.
Individual, couples, family or group therapy may involve discussions, exercises and therapeutic techniques tailored to the client’s goals.
The individual shall be responsible for the inefficacy of the therapy/counselling sessions in the event of withholding any personal information or history from the therapist.
It is up to the individual undergoing the therapy to use it to the best of his/her potential and apply it ethically. The therapist shall not be responsible for how the individual interprets, understands and applies the guidance in his/her life and the consequences thereof.
The therapist or the office is not a crisis center or an emergency helpline. The individuals are advised to reach out to Emergency care at their nearest hospitals in case of a crisis or an emergency for timely help. The individuals may reach out to our contact number to book appointments. The therapist shall not be available to discuss or address concerns outside the session, to ensure the professional’s work-life balance. The individual may either wait for the scheduled appointment to discuss or request to book an earlier session. The therapy sessions will not be conducted if the individual is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or intoxicants. The session will be terminated, marked and charged as a completed session.
Smoking and consumption of alcohol or any kind of intoxicants are prohibited during the sessions. The session will be terminated immediately, and marked and charged as a completed session.
The online sessions will be conducted through video calls only. Sessions through audio calls will not be entertained.

A minimum notice period of 24 hours shall be given to cancel or reschedule the appointment; otherwise full fee will be charged.
Full fees will be charged in case of no-shows and missed appointments.
Due to some unavoidable circumstances, if the therapist is unavailable for an appointment, the individual shall extend full cooperation in rescheduling the appointment to a mutually convenient slot.
In case the individual shows up late for the scheduled appointment, the session will end at the scheduled time to avoid disrupting the next appointment.
Payment Policy, Fees and Payment Procedure
The charges for personal sessions, couples’ sessions, joint and group sessions vary. Kindly contact the office to understand the applicable fees. The payment is to be made while booking the appointment, without which the slot will not be blocked.

Termination of Therapy
In case of premature termination of therapy or counselling sessions by the individual, the individual shall discuss the same with the therapist in a session, to discuss further course of action for the individual.
Terminating without prior intimation or notice is discouraged, and the individual shall be responsible for the consequences of it. The therapist will not be liable for any damage and difficulties faced by the individual thereafter.
The therapist reserves all the rights to deny, terminate the therapy of individuals, couples, groups, and the same shall be decided at the discretion of the therapist.
The therapist will terminate the couple or the group session.
